History of the Coin:
These 90% silver, Morgan Dollar sized coin depicts a female figure holding a bundle of wood and an ax in one arm and an oak sprig in the other. She is resting the arm with the oak on the Panamanian shield. “Republica De Panama” is retained on the rings band as well as the purity and weight of the coin. The date 1947 is also seen on this large and stunning coin ring. There was only 500,000 of these coins produced in 1947 and the other two years they were minted they are so scarce, we cant bring myself to ring them out.
